Malaysia Work Permit
Malaysia is a popular destination for blue-collar workers seeking employment opportunities in various industries such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, hospitality, and many others. To work in Malaysia as a blue-collar worker, you will need to obtain a work permit.
The Malaysian government has implemented several programs to attract foreign blue-collar workers to fill the country’s labor shortage in certain industries. To apply for a work permit in Malaysia, you will need to provide relevant documents, such as a valid passport, work contract, medical certificate, and others, depending on the type of work permit you are applying for.
There are two types of work permits for blue-collar workers in Malaysia:
Temporary Employment Visit Pass (TEVP): This type of work permit is suitable for workers who need to work in Malaysia for a short period, usually up to six months. The TEVP is issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department and is renewable for up to six months.
Professional Visit Pass (PVP): This type of work permit is suitable for skilled blue-collar workers who have specialized knowledge or expertise in a particular field. The PVP is issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department and is renewable for up to two years.
To apply for a work permit in Malaysia, you will need to have a valid job offer from a Malaysian employer. The employer will be responsible for applying for the work permit on your behalf. Once your work permit is approved, you will be able to work legally in Malaysia and enjoy the benefits of working in a vibrant and diverse country.
